About
The Kid's Habitat is my latest program in a career in Early Childhood that has spanned 30+ years. I was the Director of a Child Development Center from 2002- 2015 and I was a consultant and the creator, teacher and Director of a Kid's Club and other programs for elementary age students from 2015-2017. In addition, I supervised/ran Professional Development training for Northern Virginia pre-school professionals for the past 15 years.
The Kid s Habitat preschool program is play based, developmentally appropriate and uses parts of the Creative Curriculum. Experience has taught me that no one curriculum fits all. In my programs, I believe in using the best practices for the children in my care This program is learning care not daycare! I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified and am a Fairfax County licensed child care provider.
I provide snacks and drinks. Children must bring their own lunch.
