About

Hi! My name is Elham and I have a family daycare center in my house. I graduated from Santa Monica College as a teacher in Early Childhood Education. I live with my husband and our two cats. My husband is a Pathologist and he is doing his fellowship at Children Hospital of Los Angeles. I have more than a decade experience in babysitting, have done two internships in two preschools, ad have worked in a daycare for a while.
We, Early Childhood Educators believe that the first years of children's life are the most important ones for their emotional and intellectual development. Taking care of children in a safe, warm, fun, and friendly environment while giving them guidance and structure are my goals in my center. I will try to nurture children's imagination and ideas, to acknowledge each kid's individuality, and to "validate each personality." My goal, like my mentor, Ashley is to provide place where children know that they are loved, accepted, and protected; Helping them to achieve a strong sense of self-worth; Insuring that each child has lots of positive experiences throughout every day.
Every moment I feel privileged to join in children's laughter, to see the world through their eyes, and to be included in their activities.
I view my chosen profession as a career, not as a job. so, I want children under my care to be happy all the time, to play and learn, and to enjoy every moment that they spend with me.
I strongly believe that good communication between parents and caregivers is a very important part of a quality childcare. I am committed to create a strong bond with children and their parents/guardians. My goal will be making you feel completely confident when you leave your child in my care.
I understand that you trust me to take care of your child and I take this responsibility very seriously. I look forward to care for your child and to provide a positive influence in their lives.
