The Homeschool Preschool

I'm a stay-at-home mom who enjoys homeschooling her (almost) preschool aged daughter. I'm looking to transform our home into a homeschool preschool for another child or 2 during the workweek while my oldest (7) is at school. We love to explore the world around us, get dirty in our garden, pretend with blocks and play dough, have tea parties, play dress-up, and more!

We learn counting, colors, the alphabet, sign language and Spanish through unstructured play. We practice having good manners, being kind, sharing, and playing nice. The kids always love to help cook, bake, and clean up too!

I am a former DYFS caseworker with the Union County division, and a former preschool teacher before that. I have first hand knowledge of food allergies and epi pen administration. Trained in First Aid and CPR. I have a reliable car with a perfect driving record and a Bachelor's degree from Rutgers University. I love to bake, read, and I'm an aspiring author of Young Adult suspense novels. :)

We have lots of love to share in our home. We as a family believe that children learn best at their own pace in a loving environment that is safe and fun. That is why I have dedicated my life to raising my children at home, and will dedicate myself to giving your child the love, nurturing, and attention they deserve from another mother-figure in a home environment. :)
