We are a small family-owned and family-oriented company who holds firm to the belief that our elders are to be respected, cared for and treated with dignity. As children of aging parents, we have first-hand experiences in the complexities of caring for our parents who face the challenges of aging such as illnesses, losing independence and many issues related to aging. We are well-versed in navigating the medical and social service systems to help them access the care and treatment that they need. We embrace our responsibilities of being their caretakers and see it as an honor to serve them, as they have cared for us all our lives. These are the values that we bring to the patients of The Helping Hands. We treat our patients as we would our own parents, and how we want our elder parents to be treated.

We also see the families of our patients as allies as we provide their loved ones with the compassionate care that their elderly loved ones deserve. We have a pool of caregivers who are capable, experienced and trustworthy. They are selected and trained based on the values mentioned above. They are able to provide daily living assistance, take them to medical appointments and be their companion in the comfort of their own home or facility where they reside. Our caregivers are matched by taking into account the needs of the patients and their families as revealed during the initial assessment.

We believe that with care and assistance, our elders continue to be valuable and contributing members of our community. Through the services that The Helping Hands provide we are committed to promoting the health of our patients, maintaining their dignity and preserving their independence.
