The Habitat Institute was founded in order to provide kids with a learning and playing environment that enables them to flourish. The Habitat Institute excels in individualized care, engaging activities, and spending time outdoors. All kids should have a support system that encourages them to be their happiest and best self possible, and that s why The Habitat Institute exists!
At The Habitat Institute there is a 3:1 student to teacher ratio. This greatly surpasses the Florida standard of a 25:1 student to teacher ratio typically found in aftercares for kids over the age of 6. This 3:1 student to teacher ratio allows for the creation of a curriculum that benefits every student. What could be better than learning about goats and then heading over to the local farm to meet Mr. Goat in person. Habitat s mobility also makes it easier on the parents as kids will be either picked up from school or their house, depending on the program chosen, and dropped off at home at the end of the day.
