The Goddard School

Thank you for considering us for your childcare needs!! One of the many things that differentiates Goddard from other centers is our quest to perform at a higher level that what is required by the State. Goddard is focused on education and our daily schedule is focused on our F.L.E.X. model, which stands for Fun Learning EXperience. Widely accepted research shows that play and exploration are how children learn to understand the world around them. An important aspect of learning through play is making sure children are allowed and encouraged to make their own choices as they play. We offer creative curriculum at the school, meaning our teachers lesson plan according to the interests, development and age range of the children in their classroom.

All of our teachers are CPR/First Aid certified, as well as have completed required training through the state of Ohio to ensure all proper safety and quality assurance techniques are followed in the classroom.

In addition to providing loving and nurturing care in classroom room, we are also working with the children on eight learning domains each day. This includes American Sign Language, music & movement, language & literacy, creative art, sensory exploration and more.
