The Goddard School - Murfreesboro

We are a premier early education program that focuses on children’s growth and development in all areas. We pride ourselves on providing an excellent educational program by encouraging children to learn through purposeful play and exploration. Qualified teachers create lesson plans in various areas of the curriculum that meet state and Goddard standards.
The children also participate in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) learning activities. Our goal is for the students to be “school ready, career ready and life ready”, therefore our program additionally incorporates creativity, cooperation, critical thinking, and communication, which will not only develop the skills to be successful in school, but successful in life. We also provide children with these enrichment activities throughout the day: Spanish, Sign Language, Handwriting Without Tears, World Cultures, Art History, Music and Movement, Manners, Physical Fitness, Spanish, Chess and Yoga. We are a program that takes learning outside to our outdoor classroom, which has an art center, engineering blocks, science table, 4 square, chess board and bowling area.
