As a mom who was once looking for that perfect in-home care provider, I decided to stay home and create my perfect vision here at The Funky Farmhouse Daycare. We explore the outdoors, learn life skills as well as our ABC's and 123's. We love, nurture and sing all the live long day! We have a 2.5 acre property that sits a safe distance off the street with plenty of room to run and play and we have recently added some chickens which the dogs aren't always sure about. We do a lot of errand running and fun trips out. Examples of our outings include park, weekly lunch date, craft store, grocery store, etc. These outings give us good experience of how to behave while in public. There are always opportunities to practice good behavior. :)
About me: I have a great husband and 2 awesome boys (1 & 4 years). I do not come from a childcare background. I was in administration prior to staying home. I worked for the same company for almost 9 years before I left. I babysat as a kid but nothing serious.
