The Friends School of Atlanta (FSA) has extended its values-based education to a full-day preschool (PreK3) class for 3 year olds. The school day runs from 8:15 am to 3:15 am, with before care (as early as 7:45 am) and after care (until 6:00 pm) included in the cost of tuition. The program follows the guidelines of the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), offering a loving learning environment with plenty of time for play as well as a curriculum emphasizing learning readiness. And of course the program is guided by the values we call the SPICES: simplicity, peace, integrity, community, equality and stewardship.
