New Parent Assistance:
All services are all provided while you are in the home, and can assist new parents in a variety of ways so that they can get the rest they need without compromising the care of their child. While many parents are fine on their own, having someone else handle the household responsibilities can help to make the adjustment to a new baby easier.
Home Care (Non-medical):
Whether you are your loved one needs care in their home, a nearby assisted or independent living community or elsewhere, our custom homecare services are provided in many settings. Cheaper Than Home Health Aides. Companionship care and homemaking do not include personal, hands-on care. For example, companions cannot help patients bathe or take their medications. Instead, they can prepare the bath and remind patients to take their medications. Most states require additional licensing for personal, hands-on care.
Tea Time:
Our unique service assists families to connect online. We schedule online time with your family and arrive at your home with our device and Mobile Wireless. We use a program like Skype, which enables you to have a live VIDEO CHAT (so you can see each other), and we monitor the service as you visit online with your loved ones.
Life Coaching Online or in your home:
Life Coaching services provide emotional support for clients in need of a listening ear or a word of encouragement during times of stress or transition. As well, Life Coaching services include an educational component with practical tips for navigating the world of emotions and life's finer nuances, empowering clients with a new perspective. I can provide Life Coaching from a biblical worldview if requested. Biblical coaching, which is based on a one-on-one relationship or in a small group environment, is the opportunity to achieve remarkable personal and professional results. Biblical coaching is premised upon the belief that individuals are uniquely created and have a unique calling and destiny. Biblical coaching is fundamentally about discovering God given talents, exposing negative agreements and patterns with the result being a transformed mind, body and spirit.

Tammy Matson, owner of The Friendly Visitor, has built this care agency out of her appreciation and affection for her mother and grandparents. As they aged and her personal caregiving role increased, Tammy became an impassioned advocate for respectful home care for those in need regardless of age whether a new parent, the elderly, the disabled or patients who are recovering from illness and hospitalization.
These personal experiences combined with her past work experiences with independent senior living residence, non-profit/for-profit agencies and hospice agencies, her education in counseling, and her passion for helping people drive Tammy to provide a higher quality essential service to those needing social and emotional support in Arvada, Colorado and beyond.
Tammy graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver with a Bachelor of Science in Human Service: Mental Health Counseling. Tammy is trained and certified in Mental Health First Aid and pursues an ongoing study of cognitive behavioral principles. She is active in the community, with interests in music and health, and volunteers with other local organizations.
It is my goal to facilitate a more positive life experience for my clients - both inside and outside of the home. The Friendly Visitor inspires and empowers clients to live the life they deserve - confidently, intentionally, and with grace. We accomplish these things together, through my providing a caring and practical helping-hand as well as emotional support on life's journey - for both individuals and their families. Sometimes a simple helping-hand and listening ear can go a long way.

Because we live out of state, we hired The Friendly Visitor for our 81 year old Uncle. Our companion took charge of all aspects of his care, has maintained his way of life, and has had a positive influence in all areas of all of our lives. She treats our Uncle with kindness, respect, and is always willing to take the initiative to formulate a solution to any of his problems. Her experience and capable, caring personality allows our family to feel comfortable leaving our Uncle in her care
