Hello Parents! My name is Nydia, and I moved my childcare business from Pennsylvania to Maryland. I have run my own licensed in-home child care for 17 years. I have my Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and I was accredited by NAFCC (National Association for Family Child Care Providers). I was a Keystone STARS 4 program. Keystone STARS is a continuous quality improvement program with four STAR levels. Each STAR designation has its own performance standards. These standards increase with each STAR level. I am CPR certified and have all up to date FBI and Child Abuse Clearance. I am in the process of registering as a Family Childcare Provider in Maryland.

I have a great deal of experience with children ranging from birth to 12 years old. I have developed and taught curriculum aligned with state standards to all of my students. In my childcare, my students learn through exploring art, music, reading, math, physical education, and more. I am also bilingual, so I introduce Spanish words to my students in addition to English.

We enjoy outdoor play as often as weather permits. I also do my best to schedule and plan at least one field trip a year. It is my goal as a small in home child care provider, to provide your child with the attention they deserve while providing them with a strong educational foundation.

I am located in the Federal Hill neighborhood of Baltimore, and I will be charging a weekly rate starting at $300 per child. Meals will be provided and included in the weekly cost for children 12 months and older. References and additional information available upon your request.
