The Dowd Preschool is a family run Childcare center, that follows a curriculum tailored to children up to the age of 5 years. I have filled out the necessary documentation to become a Type A licensed childcare provider, registered with the State and am at the final stages of becoming approved.
I am offering to serve children aged 2 to 5 + years old and have just recently completed my Associates degree in Education, and am looking to utilize my skills by providing quality care in a nurturing and positive environment. I am trained in CPR and First Aid, and have undertaken and have passed all the necessary background checks that the State requires to become compliant with the States rules and regulations. The home-based business hours will be from 7 am to 6 pm, and I'm willing to be flexible on this to accommodate the parents' requirements.
Our home-based center will provide a curriculum that includes a full day of fun activities that focus on constructive learning in the areas of dramatic play, art, reading, math, science and language arts to further develop their reading and math skills. Children are my passion, and I am looking forward to spending time teaching children important skills to help them become independent and school ready.
