Since 1992 I have operated The Dog Walker pet care service. I began part time and in 1994 escalated to full time status, which I have maintained since.
I provide daily dog walks and cat visits, house/pet sitting and in-home boarding (limited to one dog at a time).
Aside from cats and dogs I have also cared for fish, birds, reptiles and other small mammals.
Being the sole proprietor allows my clients to receive very personalized care for their pets. The bonds I formulate with each animal are close and strong. Many of my clients have employed me throughout the entire lifetime of their pet from puppy and kitten hood to old age.

While many pet care services have multiple employees and some are actually running businesses not at all related to pet care my service, we strive to be both professional and personal. Many of the dogs I have cared for have been walked alone due to their special needs. The most dogs I walk at once are four. I feel that walking multiple dogs especially in large numbers does a great disservice both to the animals and to their clients. I will only accept as many clients as I can reasonably care for on a daily basis.
