Contact us today to set up a tour! We have one RARE full-time spot for a child who is 18 months or older, and one part-time spot available Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays.
The Discovery Tree is a licensed star-rated family daycare and licensed for 12.
We carry liability insurance, and there are 2 trained, experienced, and educated staff members here everyday. Provider/ owner has a degree in Early Childhood Education, National CDA, former Pre-K and GSRP teacher, and former Program Director. Both providers are CPR & First Aid Certified, bloodborne pathogen certified, and safe sleep practices certified. We also continue our education every year by taking a minimum of 20 hours in Professional Development Training each year. I have over 15 years of experience working with children, and assistant has over 5 years of experience.
About our preschool program:
We use Mother Goose Time curriculum that includes monthly themes. We work on social emotional, physical, language and literacy, math and reasoning, science, social studies, problem solving, and creative development skills. Mother Goose Time meets and exceeds the State of Michigan Standards. Parent teacher conferences twice per year, Ages and Stages assessments, and a keepsake portfolio.

Parents night/day outs held 4x per year for free! Many family events held year round: Thankful feast, Art shows, Family BBQ, Picnics, Muffins with mom, Donuts with Dads, Mystery Readers, Family movie night, and Ice cream socials!

We cater to teachers (and non-teacher families) and all Public Schools academic calendar both Traditional and Balanced. We have special school year contracts with times and rates customized for your families' child care needs.
