My name is Kimberly Kline and I received my license to operate an at-home day care facility in June 2015. I am a stay-at-home mom to twin toddlers and would like to provide exceptional hands-on care to other children in the community. The Day Carriage is open Monday-Friday from 7am-6pm. Rates vary depending on the age of the child and whether the child is full time or part time. I provide 2 healthy meals (breakfast and lunch) and two healthy snacks (morning and afternoon) per day.
I will provide an environment where all children in my care receive individual attention, have the ability to be creative and use their imagination on a daily basis, get plenty of outdoor play time and make great friendships. The Day Carriage is primarily a television-free home. TV is allowed only on special occasions. I believe that a child benefits and learns more from being interactive with other children and adults rather than electronics. I will work on preparing children to be ready to enter into school so that they will excel and not fall behind other children. They will learn basics through everyday fun experiences so they do not feel overwhelmed or frustrated. I want all children to look forward to coming to The Day Carriage knowing they will have a great time, be safe and be around people that care about them.
