The Community Family Inc.

The Community Family is a nonprofit organization that provides adult day health services at its centers in Everett, Medford and Lowell. Adult day health care is a "the best kept secret" in healthcare. We provide a day program comprised of nursing care, therapeutic activities, nutrition and personal care. Two of our centers - Medford and Lowell specialize in providing care to those with memory loss.

The Community Family cares for elders and disabled adults in our cheerful
home-like centers. Participants think of the center as a "Club" where they send time with their friends. Our nursing staff monitor health conditions and provide daily nursing care and medication management. A variety of activities are offered through out the day including games, music therapy, art therapy, exercise, and discussion groups. We provide transportation to and from the center.

The Community Family provides high quality care at a fraction of the cost of residential care, in-home care, or nursing home care. Best of all - - adult day health care consistently receives the highest scores on consumer satisfaction surveys.

The Community Family has contracts with MassHealth and variety of other payment source, Our social workers helps individuals and families explore whether eligibility for possible payment options. The Community Family has a private pay rate for services.
