About the business
A tutoring and enrichment service for elementary,middle or high school students struggling in reading or math for elementary) OR needing challenges they are not presented with in school. For little ones struggling with reading we use Orton Gillingham and Susan Barton approved curriculum focusing in on phonemic awareness. For older students we work on drawing conclusions, main ideas and character analysis. We use common core standards in math supported by manipulatives. We also provide exam prep for middle and high school students needing to take the ISEE, PSAT, SAT or ACT in reading and writing.

We are 2 teachers that have chosen to leave the red tape of school demands to give the students we work with the best version of our professional abilities. I am a former elementary teacher of 15 years who graduated from St. Thomas University with a 3.6 GPA. I recently took a course in FAU for students with special needs to keep updated with the practices used today. I last taught in 2010 in a Palm Beach County public elementary school.
Karen is currently certified as an ELA middle and high school teacher and has twenty years of experience teaching students how to best navigate through tests. She is highly qualified to prepare students for the SAT/ ACT/ ISEE for reading and writing.
