The Children's Garden School And Forest Kindergarten

Consistency of care is of the utmost importance in the first five years of life. At the Children's Garden, we provide a place for your child to grow from the time they take their first steps, all the way through ABC's and 123's. With a family style program, children stay with the same teachers and friends from their first birthday, until they go to Kindergarten. This strong connection among children and teachers, builds a strong foundation of security and confidence.

12 Months -3 years old ~ Acorns
Our small group size and low ratios, give toddlers the consistency and familiarity they need in their Early Learning Environment. With a home-like setting and beautiful outdoor spaces to explore, toddlers learn by doing, feeling, smelling and tasting. We bake, paint, dance and sing, and go outside in all weather. Our toddlers participate in daily homestead life, helping to feed the chickens and ducks and digging in the garden.

3 and 4 year olds ~ Oaks
As children reach their third birthday, they become ready for more formal group lessons and teacher lead art activities. With our Montessori and Reggio Emellia inspired preschool curriculum, students learn at their pace, following their natural curiosity. Our forest, garden and classroom provide inspiration for exploration and learning, all while building the confidence and independence needed for future schooling.
