About

We are an outdoor preschool program modeled after Forest Preschools in Europe. We go on daily 'field trips' into the Wasatch Mountains, east of Salt Lake City. Drop off is at a designated trail head and we hike about a half a mile to the outdoor learning area. The children lead their learning by expressing their interests, and teachers incorporate lessons and concepts that support their interests. The children spend time playing together, using their imagination, creating, looking at books, exploring, learning about the natural world, and more. This program supports the development of social skills, emotional awareness and regulation, physical strength and resiliency, cognitive skills, creativity, a connection with the earth and other living things, and kindergarten readiness.

Drop off is at 8:30 and pickup is between 12:15 and 12:30.
