On December 2nd I will be starting a new in home Day Care in Okawville. I will be specializing in infant child care starting at 6 weeks old to Pre-K.
I want to bridge the gap between birth and school by providing a safe, caring, and educational enviroment.
My name is Courtney and I have been working with children professionally for 8 years. After working as an aide in a Pre-K Classroom at an elementary school in Poinciana Florida, my husband Jon and I decided to move to Southern Illinois where he is originally from.
Shortly after arriving I began work as an aide in an infant room at a child care center. I was quickly promoted to Lead Teacher. I have worked in several child care centers in their infant room for a total of 7 years and I love it.
I plan to bring my experience of working in these child care centers to Okawville.
I am CPR and First Aide certified. I am also currently going through the process of being licensed through the state of Illinois.
