The Baby Vine is a Licensed Family Child Care Provider in Hennepin County that specializes in infant and toddler care and prides itself on offering a maximum ratio of 3 children per 1 adult although it is licensed for up to 6. This ratio model allows for quality attention for each child as they develop at their own rate and for the children's individual needs to be met during this critical time of their lives.

At The Baby Vine, each child will have their own place and space of belonging while being a part of a loving community. Each child is believed in as a capable and intelligent human being from birth and is respected as such. The Baby Vine focuses on critical areas such as academic and life skills, social emotional development, sensory exploration, anti-bias and diversity, nutrition and sustainability, all while creating a safe environment with top quality equipment. With early communication being entirely physical in humans; The Baby Vine implements infant sign language as a way to help children feel supported in communicating what they want and need. In terms of developing the whole child and their individual interests and goals, sensory and educational exploration is tied to the wonders of Mother Nature, while music and movement experiences that encourage self-expression, creativity, as well as physical and cognitive growth occur every day with play based learning.
