The Awakened Family Preschool

We are a home based daycare/preschool run by a certified Speech Language Pathologist who is specially certified to teach early childhood language and literacy skills. We believe in using a whole child approach that focuses on creating a positive and accepting atmosphere that allows the child the capacity to reach their full potential. All teachings are based in play and the focus is on re-enforcing concepts of self worth, self esteem and that each child deserves to be heard and seen. We seek to use play, gross motor, fine motor, sensory integration and play based literacy and language stimulation to develop a child's skills in a way that so fun and engaging they can't wait to come back! We focus on the process of creativity and not on the outcomes to reinforce the concept of enjoying the NOW and not basing their worthiness on their achievements. We charge competitive rates with the exception that we do not charge for days/weeks when your family is away on vacation or wants to take a break. As a mom to two toddlers myself I know how hard this is when you are charged for childcare you don't need or just want a vacation. This will be the highest quality childcare available in the area. I know because I am a mom and have tried all the big chain preschools that charge exorbitant amounts with large class sizes. We want your child to learn the power of their authentic self and love who they are. If this is what you want for your child we are eagerly filling spots for Tuesday, Thursday and Fridays.
