Hello, my name is Miss Alysa and my expertise is childcare. I believe the greatest honor in this life is servitude and caring for others. I am 30 y/o, a mother myself and have over 12 years of working in commercial and private childcare. I am looking to fill the remaining openings within my in-home childcare space!
I homeschool my 6 y/o son and wanted to open up our space to other families who are also searching for excellent quality care for their kiddo(s)! I take a holistic approach to teaching and care and incorporate the best of Waldorf, Montessori and Reggio Emilia philosophies. I recognize that each child is their own person, learns at their own pace and I aim to honor and encourage that along with their creativity, interests and abilities while also instilling critical thinking skills and a natural love for learning! If we can establish a love for learning and a confidence in each child about who and how special they are as an individual, the sky will be the limit for them as they continue to grow all throughout their lives!
I am located in a lovely neighborhood in South St. Louis near The Hill area. We have a playground across the street, a fenced in backyard where we garden and get plenty of fresh air, a mini indoor green house, all meals that I serve are truly healthy and organic. Any cleaning products are non toxic We will have a daily rhythm, story circle time, nap, do many crafts, free imaginative play, hands on learning activities, age appropriate curriculums and so much more fun! I keep de-choker devices in the building, emf protection and have exit and safety plans for natural disaster emergencies. I am open Monday-Friday from 7:30am-5:30pm and my rates are $60-80/day! Tuition is due in full the week before care starts! More exciting news: I just incorporated a baby room! I have a whistle clean background and am an open book! My personality type is compassionate, truth, nature and humor loving; I am a nurturer through and through and love nature!
