About the business
My name is Terry and I own a small cleaning business called Terry's Residential Cleaning Service LLC, here in Jacksonville. I am a woman owned licensed business. We speak English only. I have been in business for over 8 years now and I have recurring clients. We clean by the job and not by the hour. Once we complete our services listed below, we leave. That might be one hour or four. We will deep clean, with every visit. We believe your home is a direct reflection of yourself so, we know how important it is to be detailed and thorough. We are very dependable, reliable, non smokers and we Love Animals. We are fast, efficiently and punctual. We do not clean or charge by the hour. We clean until the two of us complete the services listed below. Sometimes that might be 1 hour or 4 hours depending on the square footage of your home. I have my own transportation and we come to you with our own cleaning supplies and equipment.
My service includes:
Dusting all rooms (moving items to dust under),
Dusting around the ceilings,
Wall washing with pine sol or bleach,
Wiping down blinds,
Washing window sills,
Cleaning base boards,
Cleaning reachable ceiling fans,
Dust over the doors/windows,
Pet hair clean up,
Emptying trash cans,
Cleaning vents and vent returns,
Detailed cleaning of all bathrooms,
Detailed cleaning of the kitchen (wiping down all appliances, microwave and cabinets etc),
Oven cleaning (per request),
Refrigerator cleaning (at your request),
Wash windows on the inside,
Washing doors, door jams, door knobs, light fixtures
Vacuuming all rooms
Mopping all floors.
We can shampoo carpet, as well, if requested.
Bed changing, if needed
We do not do laundry but, will fold laundry for you.
We use Lavendar Pine Sol to clean with and Method on Hardwood/laminate/vinyl floors. We do offer bleach/water cleaning as well. We will wear a mask, at your request. Don't count on this company to do what they say they will do... They gave us a quote on a house cleaning for this week. $80 for 2 people cleaning for two hours. A couple days later they tried to back track saying they normally charge a flat rate for a cleaning and don't like to charge by the hour but will do it this time because they already said they would. It was made clear we live on Jacksonvilles North side and I'm pretty sure my zip code is here on the website to be seen by people interested in working for us. Yesterday when asked we told them again we do not live on the West side we live in Northeast Jacksonville.
Well we just got a call 8 minutes before they are scheduled to be here for the cleaning and they call to say they aren't coming because they don't want to drive this far.. Its Dec. 20th and we were looking forward to getting a cleaning before Christmas and possibly starting a regular cleaning routine for 2019. We even would have paid more if needed but went with the price they asked for.
Not showing up to an appointment like that is just pathetic...

My service includes: deep cleaning with every visit, we start by dusting all rooms (moving items to dust under), cleaning base boards, cleaning reachable ceiling fans, clean the eves over the doors/windows, Pet hair clean up, emptying trash cans, detailed cleaning of all bathrooms, cleaning the kitchen (wiping down all appliances and cabinets), dusting blinds, dusting window seals, wash windows on the inside, vacuuming all rooms and moping all floors. We can also change the linen on the bed(s) if needed. We would treat your home like it was my own. I would like to thank you, in advance, for any consideration for this position. I have an opening in my schedule for Wednesday's, on a bi-weekly basis, starting 12/19/18. We could clean between 10:30-12:30. My fee would be $80 per cleaning. I am so sorry. We do not service the area you live in. We do not go past Dunn Avenue. I do apologize. I should have ask your wife exactly where you lived when we talked on the phone. I do not do business this way. All my clients are happy with our service. It is my fault I did not ask your complete location.

You can also see, by the conversation, that they were quoted $80 PER CLEANING and that never changed. We do not cater to the Northside of Jacksonville. I also have referenced.
