Tender Moments Preschool

The Tender Moments environment is bright and inviting for children, where we've dedicated the entire home to the children. Learning areas are equipped with materials that are age appropriate and interesting to the children. There are learning objectives with what we've furnished in each of the learning areas. Children will think that they are playing, however, there is much learning that is occurring. Children learn about their environment and the world around them by touching, feeling; experiencing and participating. We encourage children to become true participants. We follow daily routines where children are able to select from 9 different interest areas every day. Within these interest areas, there may be teacher directed activities also set up from which a child may select from. Our toys are referred to as our tools for learning. Children are encouraged to participate in activities that strengthen the core areas of : social emotional, cognitive, physical and creative. Through exposure and variety of experiences, children will master skills necessary for school readiness. We also emphasis developing and mastering of social skills. Our staff welcomes family involvement and communication is essential to our success.
