I have had many years of off and on experience caring for children. I now have one of my own and find it hard making ends meet and finding time to spend with my child who is 2years old as well as finding a reliable and trusted care taker, and not crazy about the idea of a daycare center...I have recently decided to open my home to children of parents who need a sitter. I have recently upgraded a large swingset area in the backyard for play, a nice landscape border around a large yard so children can visualize the barriers, i am located in a small neighborhood with great neighbors and scenery, great for exploratory walks and learning! within the Waverly School district, so children can catch the bus, or take the bus to my home after school, other transportation services can be discussed/arranged -health, safety, and happiness is the #1 priority for the children under my supervision! for this reason, I have installed a home security system, and children will only be picked up by the designated parties of the parents choosing, anyone else, with permission of the parent, will need a picture ID for pick up. under NO circumstance will i allow anyone seemingly under the influence of drugs/alcohol to leave with the child!! (this includes parents, police will be contacted if need be) I will include a packet with each registration with necessary information about the child. I am also working on completing a large indoor area for rainy day play. children will be put on a daily schedule, receive learning, interactive play, motor skill advancement, etc. as well as, any other suggestions the parents may have. i do have a small short hair dog (8lbs).
