I was highly disappointed with my experience here.
I left my beautiful teddy bear puppy with Julie (the owner of the facility), and I got back a thinly shaved, sad teddy bear, stripped of her beautiful hair and fur. My dog is a frequent client of many of the Dog Groomers around town, and since she needed a quick trim before our vacation, I decided to try Teddy's. What a big mistake that was. The owner shaved all of my gorgeous puppy's hair and blamed it on "excessive matting". She had saved all of the "mats" she had shaved off as proof that she was "heavily matted". She showed me two pieces of tangled mats (that were behind her ears and paws) and told me that that's why she had to shave her. Oh, but that's not the worse part. She shaved her completely BUT left so much UNEVEN fluff on her head. So while my dog is running around with her thin legs, and thin body, she has a huge bobble-head of hair on her head, making her look cartoonish and unpleasant. Don't bring your loving animals here, drive to Oro Valley and take them to Poochini's, where you'll be sure to receive your pup looking better than they had looked before you dropped them off. Never did I think that the owner of a dog grooming business could create this uneven mess in FOUR hours. Never again.
