About
My name is Tiffany, and I have current CPR/First Aid, Food Handlers, and a degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an Emphasis in Early Childhood Education. I have experience as childcare teacher, childcare assistant director and director, Head Start Preschool teacher and supervisor, nanny and babysitter, mother and more over the last 25 years of my life.
Teachable Moments provides in home child care in a warm, loving, safe environment. The program is limited to 4 children, besides my own, so it has a lower child to adult ratio than many programs. My home is a Christian home, so children will have prayer and bible stories along with educational preschool activities each day.
This is a pet friendly home, including a child friendly dog, cat and fish. I provide healthy meals (breakfast/lunch), and snacks daily, with whole grains, fruits and veggies and a variety of other healthy meals made mostly from scratch! We have a fully fenced in back yard with a great area for children to play. The program is geared currently for children infant-kindergarten. We are happy to offer part time care (2-4 days a week) or 1/2 days if space is available!
