Liza has always been passionate about education. Liza holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and is certified by the state of New Jersey as a secondary education teacher in Chemistry, Physical Science, Physics and Dance. Liza is also a Board Certified Homeopathic Practitioner. She applied her knowledge of chemistry, homeopathy and education together and was able to write her own chemistry text book for students. During her time as a high school teacher, she was nominated for Teacher of the Year for her unique ability to work with disadvantaged students with learning disabilities and transform how they learn. Liza has extensive experience with special needs students. When her daughter was born, she committed her time and energy to educating her and was passionate about making the decision to home-school. From age 3, she began teaching her and exposing her to different elements. She is now 6 years old and almost completed with 2nd grade. This has set the stage and open the door to other students who want to be home-schooled or need extra help but their parents are not able to for various reasons. Liza decided to set up a place where kids can find a relaxed atmosphere that is welcoming, inviting and conducive to learning. With one-on-one attention, the kids have no other choice but to learn. Most parents fear the socialization aspect of home-schooling their child will be affected. Liza has addressed this area by offering small group classes of extra-curricular activities so the kids can have the socialization they need to thrive while maintaining their small class size. Liza offers Dance classes for kids age 7 and up.
