Hi there, I'm Taylor!
I have always had a passion for working with children and for the last 10+ years have worked with them in a variety of ways. I have babysat for numerous families, worked full time in a daycare & preschool setting while attending school for Early Childhood Education, volunteered as a lead teacher with children's church and with Big Brothers Big Sisters, and I have a 1-year-old of my own. I am CPR/first aid certified.
I am currently looking to take on up to 4 kids for weekend care in my home near Worlds of Fun. I have a gentle/connected parenting style that I apply to children under my care. I strive to meet kids where they're at both developmentally and emotionally. We do lots of music and outside time, and no TV time. I offer all healthy foods (no processed sugar and limited salt) and am familiar with breastmilk babies and pace feeding. I do have friendly dogs, but they will always be separate from the children at all times.
