I have been providing child care in my home for the past 16 years, caring for children ranging in age from newborn to 13 years old.
I offer full-time care, as well as before school and after school care. I maintain a small child care facility so that I can give more individual and personal attention to each child's needs.
My philosophy is to create a comfortable, harmonious environment where children can feel safe and also have educational, stimulating activities. Our activities include arts and crafts, singing, going for walks and story time. We spend part of the day outside, weather permitting.
My goal is to help prepare your children to enter kindergarten. I focus on helping them learn primary colors, be able to count to 10 and recite the alphabet. I make sure that the children have a balanced breakfast and lunch and two nutritious snacks every day. I also have the children take a nap or rest period after lunch (midday).
I try to make my home a place where your child/children can feel safe and happy. A home away from home atmosphere.
