Tasha's Care Is Great Care

Hello, my name is Tasha! I am a mother to a curious 3 year old little girl! My passion has always been working with little ones. I have been working with children from ages 2-16 for 9 years now. From teaching gymnastics, working with them in the classroom, to volunteering. I love children! In high school, I was a gymnastics teacher which sparked my desire to teach school. I attended Concord University, in Athens, WV, completing courses specializing in Early Childhood Development.

I offer an In-Home Childcare service. The day will be very structured as structure is great for children. My focus will be on discovery and working with each child's individuality.

Daily we will work on developing their communication skills through; phonemic awareness activities, letter recognition, and writing exercises. Blocks will be used daily for creativity through building, as well as math through counting exercises.

Physical activity is important for their growing bodies and will be worked into fun games and activities throughout the day. The snacks and meals will always be healthy but satisfying to their tastes!
