Tara's Tots, Inc.

Serving the Greenlake and Wallingford communities of Seattle, Tara's Tots brings the magic of nature and art to children. Across two locations, our teachers have an emphasis on the importance of the outdoors.

Through child-led exploration, we create crafts and participate in festivals that are seasonal-oriented. The Waldorf philosophy takes a holistic approach to education. We believe in nurturing a child's social, emotional, and physical skills, in addition to their cognitive skills.

By exploring the natural world, children learn how to engage their peers and develop healthy social skills while growing their appreciation for and knowledge about nature. Our programs introduce mathematic concepts through purposeful and fun activities such as baking, memorizing and singing songs, folding, sorting, and playing counting games.

At Tara's Tots, we create a home away from home. This means making sure that every child is welcomed and celebrated for the beautiful things that make them special. We proudly support LGBTQ+, BLM, our Indigenous communities, and those from diverse walks of life.
