Welcome to Maple Circle of Friends licensed professional child care. It is my pleasure to offer flexible schedules at hourly rates to support the families in my community. Knowing how fundamentally important the first five years of life is, the children at Tammy's House are given the freedom to explore and play using all their senses to positively impact their development and to become successful learners.
I am qualified to care for your children because I:

• have 25+ years of experience providing child care for many families
• have certification in CPR and first aid
• am state approved and licensed
• am rated 5 stars through Colorado Shines since 2017
• volunteer with the Early Childhood Partnership of Adams County
• have completed the Expanding Quality in Infant and Toddler Care course
• continue my professional development through monthly classes
• believe in healthy, home-cooked meals served family style
• am a certified breastfeeding friendly child care through Tri-County Health
My philosophy of child care is inspired by the Reggio Emilia Approach
• learn through the "100 languages of children"
• the environment is the third teacher
• nature scape playground, mud kitchen, bugs, gardens
• build a sense of wonder through outdoor adventures
• making learning visible
I believe in:
• providing a relaxed, homelike atmosphere
• modeling respect and honesty towards others
• supporting social emotional health through teaching problem solving and calm down strategies
• strengthening children's gross motor development through physical challenge
• fostering a love of books through lots and lots of reading
• sending kids home muddy and happy needing a warm bubble bath
The first five years is very important, and it is my goal as a provider to partner with families by offering a nurturing and stimulating environment where children learn and develop healthy habits, feel at home and loved. Children are the joy of my life and I welcome your child to join in the fun.
