Tammy Family Child Care

Hi ! My name is Tammy, and I am a licensed child care provider that runs my own daycare. I have been a child care provider for over 16 years, and during these 16 years I was so grateful to have the support of everyone involved. At my daycare, children have the opportunity to learn English, Cantonese and Mandarin. As a native speaker, I am fluent in both Cantonese and Mandarin, but I also have experience teaching both languages to children. This way, your child can explore traditional Chinese culture and learn a little bit of Cantonese and Mandarin at a very young age. Regarding my certifications, I am currently CPR and First Aid certified. l also have an Associate Teacher Permit with 21 units in Child Development and Family Studies from the City College of San Francisco. Personally, I believe in creating a safe environment where children can feel happy during their time here, where parents can trust me to take care of their children, and where providers like myself are responsible for helping children develop into well balanced individuals with a range of interests and a curiosity to continue learning. I promote respect and foster a creative environment where children are free to explore and learn in a fun manner.
I especially like to engage the children I take care of in activities that help them learn and develop essential skills like teamwork that they can utilize as they grow up.
