We have used Tara's awesome services several times over the last year or so!!! We have a cat inside, one outside, two dogs outside, and some chickens. She gives each pet attention, sends pictures, videos, and texts! She goes above and beyond to make sure your pets as well as your home and property are well taken care of while you're away! We found her through Care.com and are so thankful and have never been disappointed! We can leave home with peace of mind that she has everything under control! We love Tara at Tails Up!!!

We had never left our male cat for more than a few days at a time but we had our first extended vacation coming up and I was nervous about leaving our cat with a boarding service as he is VERY people-shy. We found Tara and Tails Up on Care.com and were apprehensive. On our first meeting, I was immediately impressed with Tara's professional approach. She took the time to get to know us and our "big boy". 4 days before we were scheduled to leave, a stray cat showed up on our patio and we included her in our request for feeding/watering to Tara - she immediately agreed with no additional fee and we were elated. We were gone for 9 days and Tara texted me and sent pictures of both cats every day. Amazingly, Tara and our shy boy bonded over that time, allowing Tara to pet him and snuggle! Both cats are in wonderful shape, happy and healthy, thanks to Tara's great care. I highly recommend her and will certainly call on her the next time we need to be away.

Tara and her care for our dogs is truly a gift to our family. We travel 1 week out of each month, and also we are gone for a full month at one time 2 x a year .... but we love our dogs ! Tara comes to our home 2x a day to walk and play with them. Tails Up is worth the money and peace of mind. By the way, we actually save money by employing Tara... the boarding agency we used to use was 30 percent more expensive... we had to drag all of their " stuff " to them. Thank you, Tara ! Tara is absolutely amazing!! We went on our first 10 day vacation without our dachshund, Lili. I've never left her with anyone other than family, so I was very apprehensive when I started looking for a pet sitter. Tara came over and met Lili and instantly made me feel comfortable. The entire time we were away, Tara text me pictures and let me know how Lili was doing. When we got home, she had even left a journal for us. Tara went way above and beyond any expectations I had, and we will continue to use her in the future.

This week was the first time I've traveled since getting Rosie on Mother's Day. I was anxious about leaving her but Everything went great. Tails Up Pet Service, LLC is not only affordable and professional but you can tell Tara LOVES what she does.
First she came over for the initial visit (on a Sunday!) to meet us & learn how I feed & care for Rosie. Tara sat down on the floor & played with her the entire time.
Then each time she came over while I was gone she didn't just feed her & scoop the box, she stayed and played with Rosie until she was worn out & falling asleep. Tara sent text me messages & pictures showing me how happy & comfortable Rosie was during each visit. And to put icing on the cake she left me a detailed daily log of how much Rosie ate, played & pooped.
I am ridiculously happy that I didn't have to stress or stress my kitty during my travels. I hope to keep using Tails Up Pet Service for years to come!

Tara has been great with our critters right from the start when we needed an experienced, knowledgeable caregiver for our little pup, just 1 day post-op knee surgery!! Tara followed all instructions to the letter and she kept me updated with texts and pix throughout the evening. She knew I was nervous about leaving our pup in her condition with a sitter, and Tara handled all of that like a real professional !!
Tara will not let you down. She is punctual, attentive, caring and just truly wonderful !! Each of our 3 girls--2 small dogs + 1 cat just LOVE Tara !! They have been completely comfortable with her from the very beginning--even our super timid cat !! Kitty was sitting in Tara's lap within an hour of her 1st visit.
We feel so lucky to have found such a great pet sitter on Care.com !!

When I read Tara's ad regarding "Special Care for Aged Pets", I knew she was the one for me.

My two Yorkshire Terriers are 16 and 13. They are not used to being walked on a leash because I am disabled. They usually use Wee-Wee Pads, but my Veterinarian said they would benefit from being walked in addition to their medication as both have Arthritis.

After a week of combining their medication and walks, I can see a major difference in their gait and energy levels.

Tara got them used to the Harness and Leash within minutes and when they hear her car pull up they are barking and jumping at the door!

Tara was absolutely amazing with my dog... I use her when I worked long hours at work and it gives me peace of mind that my dog is in trusted hands. Sometimes Petey is standoffish with new people but he took to her right off. She talked to him calmly and he went straight to her. I would highly recommend Tara. She was great and glad I found her to help me with my Petey!!!!
