As the owner of Sweet P's Preschool, I bring the experience of 18 years as an educator, teaching from Kindergarten to 9th grade. Last year I taught a 1st-2nd grade class. In the last 25 years, I have gained valuable experience while working and volunteering, aiding children of all ages. Being a mother to a 3 year old, I understand the responsibility of caring and nurturing young minds.
Sweet P's serves children 2 to 5 years old. These children will benefit from a curriculum that will prepare them for more than just Kindergarten. Not only will they be give the opportunity to learn their letters and numbers, but topics in astronomy, anatomy, geography, mathematics, history and science. We will also be learning how to read and write.
I love children and I believe strongly that early education changes lives. I also believe that learning should be and must be fun. I use a gentle and fun approach to learning that includes pretend, singing, music, art, and physical play.
