Sweet Blooms is a Montessori micro-school located in the Churchland community of Portsmouth, Virginia. Sweet Blooms offers an authentic Montessori education for children between the ages of 2.5 and 6.
By keeping the student-teacher ratio low, we allow for individualized instruction that is given using the classic Montessori materials.
In addition to the traditional Montessori curriculum, Sweet Blooms offers nature based instruction, peace education, yoga, lessons in American Sign Language, and music and art appreciation. My mission is to nurture the whole child.
