I specialize in test prep for the ISEE/SSAT. My students have gone on to attend not only Boston Latin, but O'Bryant, Ursuline Academy and The Kent School in Connecticut. I include text books and travel costs in my hourly rate. My method is a strategy to help students learn the material and reduce test anxiety. I have a background as a former public school teacher and have worked in test prep for four years now in the greater Boston area. When I was a public school teacher, in an area right outside Newark, NJ my fourth grader class achieved the highest scores on their standardized tests. Proper preparation, encouragement, and a strong desire to achieve goes a long way.
I also can help students who have special needs. Each program is individually designed to help them achieve at their own pace and at their own level.
I am also available for early elementary enrichment tutoring. This is primarily to advance 4.5 to 6 year old children in the area of language arts and math.
