Super Kids Child Care

Super Kids Child Care is a Virginia state-licensed home daycare owned and operated by Vigdonia ("Miss Vicky"), specializing in the care of children in the area of Alexandria.
Miss Vicky began providing care for children thirty years ago shortly after immigrating to the United States from her home country, Bolivia. She started as a stay at home nanny, and with the help of recommendations and experience, she started her in-home daycare business in 2003. She has provided quality care to many children - most from infancy through kindergarten.
Safety is a paramount concern, and so there is never a moment when a child is left unsupervised. Vicky and all staff are all trained and certified in First Aid, MAT, and CPR for infants, toddlers, and older children, and are re-certified every year as per state regulations. All cribs and playground equipment are state-approved for safety, and toys are bought from a distributor that specializes in daycare friendly toys that are both age-appropriate and safe. Stairs are blocked off by baby gates, sockets are sealed with plugs, and all cabinets and doorknobs are child-proofed.
Miss Vicky maintains a record on every child with regards to allergies and health concerns and complies with the Child Nutrition Program set out by the United States Department of Agriculture to ensure all children receive a well-balanced diet.
All licensed daycare facilities in Virginia are subject to multiple unannounced inspections every year to check against safety violations and ensure adequate nutrition.
Super Kids Child Care is a bilingual environment where many of the learning activities are conducted in Spanish, and as a result, most of the children grow up and graduate from the daycare being at least partially fluent.
