Sunset Total Care is a family owned non-medical senior care service provider for the Baton Rouge and surrounding areas. We were thrust into this industry, like many others, through personal experience with our loved ones needing care. We went through dozens of home healthcare agencies before we decided it was time to change the way we were going to take care of our loved one. We implemented stringent pre-employment procedures and policies with extensive ongoing training to improve the care for our clients. Italso helps our employees further their careers and all around better themselves. Most importantly we hire caregivers with extensive experience that is trackable. Through websites like Care.com we are able to know exactly how well they kept their previous clients and clients families happy through the 5 star survey system they implemented. Through technology we are able to take the guesswork out of finding quality caregivers. There is more to a quality senior care service than quality caregivers. We are also focusing on making life entertaining and fun for clients. What good is it to have a great caregiver if life is miserable. We find out the things our clients always wanted to do but never did, for whatever reason and figure out ways to make those dreams a reality.
