Located on beautiful Whidbey Island approximately 20 minutes from Anacortes and 2 miles off of HWY 20. We are known as Whidbey Islands Country Club for Pets. Located on 10 beautiful acres Sunset has the most play yards for your pet to enjoy while staying here. Our yards range from a 3 acre fenced off leash area, 2 1/4 acre agility play yards and much more. We also have the largest suites for your dog. The large dogs have a 22 foot long suite with a private 4 X 4 private bedroom with muted lighting and classical music. For our small guests they stay in our baby TLC room. This area is heated to 68 degrees for their comfort. They have their own private yard to go out in. All our guests are let out to play/potty 6 to 8 times a day. They all go out alone to do their business. A staff member is always near. Our guests get room service twice a day. Meals are prepared according to your directions. We also have an ala carte menu for the fussy eater. Protein choices include chicken, beef, lamb and other choices. They have fresh steamed vegetables and we choose our foods from local organic farmers. The owner live on the property. Your pet is never alone. We also have security systems for added safety. Sunset has a private cat house. NO DOGS ALLOWED. Each kitty has it's own condo and is let out twice a day to play on the cat furniture or lay on the carpeted over sized window sills to watch the birds. Our newly constructed West Wing is almost done. This area will have private themed rooms such as the Sea Hawks with beds, chairs, carpet, TV and much more. Your pet can have a private walk throughout the property which has fields and trails through the woods or West Beach is only a couple minutes away. You are welcome to take a tour anytime we are open. No appointment needed. If you are planning a trip and you pet has not been away from home you may bring your pet here several times for a few hours to get to know us. There is no fee for this We want you and your pet comfortable with your decision to stay with us. Please visit our web page and face book page for more information and photo's.
