Sunflower Playschool

Sunflower Playschool offers a nurturing home like environment for children, 18 months old to 4 years old. Our practice is relationship-based care that emphasis on developing whole being of each child through creating secure attachment and building the family style group support. Because young children learn from repetition and imitation, our curriculum focuses on establishing rhythmic daily, weekly, and seasonal activities.

We offer:
*At home care with a very low caregiver to child ratio of 1-to-4 maximum.

*Freshly prepared healthy balanced organic breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snack.

*Continuity of care with the primary caregiver to promote a deep extended family like relationship.

*Non-toxic environment for safety and well-being of our children.

*No screen time as recommended by American Pediatric Association.

*Parent's Night Out Events to offer support for balanced family lifestyle.

*Mixed-age experience for children (aged 1 1/2-4) to promote social skills and leadership.

*A weekly activities include painting, cooking, gardening, dramatic play.

*A 9.5 hour day beginning at 7:30 am to 5:00 pm, five days a week (Monday - Friday).

*A program designed around being outdoors and natural non plastic classroom.
