Sunburst Kids

Sunburst Kids is a Texas Department of Child Protective Services Licensed In-Home Daycare serving families with children 6 weeks - 3 years old with a loving, purposeful "Home Away From home" environment. We offer a loving, low ratio, clean, family-like atmosphere for each and every child in our care. It is our desire to create a partnership with you to provide the very best childcare experience for you and your baby.

Over 18 years of combined teaching experience by First Aid/CPR Certified teaching experts. We provide all USDA approved meals, snacks and baby food. We are accepting children ages 6 weeks - 3 years old.

Our hope is to be a significant source of support for each family while providing a caring learning environment for each child. The goals of the program strongly reflect an abiding sense of respect for children, their unique cultures and individual development. With infants and toddlers, we work to provide an environment as home like as possible warm and welcoming, cozy spaces and so on. Infants develop intimate relationships with a stable caregiver. Care-giving activities such as feeding and diapering are warm, consistent and individualized. These routines are viewed as opportunities for children to receive undivided adult attention and to promote language, self -awareness and social skills. Consistency in routines and schedules allow children to anticipate what is coming next, thus transitions are predictable.
