My goal is to provide a safe, nurturing environment that is also social, creative, and fun. I believe all children need safe space to play, room to move their bodies, resources to help them explore, and a good dose of fresh air and dirt on a daily basis.
My own early education took place in the first school run by Responsive Classroom, and I've valued alternative education ever since. I'm fascinated by Montessori, Waldorf, and other approaches that allow children to move, to explore, to learn to love learning, and to be KIDS first and foremost!
As a provider licensed through the EEC, I perform a minimum of 10 hours of professional development every year, so I continue to grow in my own abilities as an educator.
