About
My name is Roosevelt Boone and I serve as Program Director for Strong Mind-Strong Body, Inc. a non-profit organization existing to foster mental, physical, and spiritual wellness to youth across the United States and abroad through our week long wellness programs.
Additionally, I hold a M.S. in Human Development in addition to a M. Ed. in Kinesiology and Physical Education. I have a Maine Department of Education Teaching certification (Health/PE), which comes with a clean criminal background check.
During my graduate studies I assisted in the coordination of a mentor program for children grades 3-8, which gives me experience working with diverse populations.
In addition to my civic/educational background, I currently serve as an assistant football coach at the University of Maine, and looking for additional local work now that our season has concluded.
