Hi, my name is Dara. I'm happily married and have 2 beautiful girls - ages 2 & 12 years old. I am CPR/AED & First Aid certified and am in the process of acquiring a Fairfax County childcare permit.
Stratford Landing Daycare is a family home daycare located in Fort Hunt, Alexandria. I am seeking a couple of infants and/or toddlers ages 9 months-4 yrs to care for alongside my own. I encourage learning and creativity through play, song, dance, crafts and nature. Our home is safe, spacious, clean & smoke free. We have two very friendly dogs but will be kept in a separate area.
My experience with childcare outside of caring for my own two children is caring for relatives. I also have experience interacting with children of all ages from around the world from having worked at a toy store in New York City. I found it to be the most enjoyable job I've ever had and it gave me inspiration to get into the field of child care.
