Our program is designed to develop a young mind, foster curiosity, connect with community, provide support as a family and help each child discover their unique identity. We aid in the transition from home to a school setting. This is accomplished through welcome emails, orientations, parent – teacher introductions and opportunities to explore the center prior to their first day. Our primary focus is to ensure the children are comfortable in their classrooms as teachers build a strong bond with each student. Our goal is to expose students to different cultures, backgrounds and real-life experiences. A priority of the program is to make sure that the families are comfortable with the staff and know that their child is in a safe and secure setting through an open line of communication. Families are encouraged to partake in their child’s learning through participation in events and provide feedback. We acknowledge the bilingual needs of the families within our community and therefore provide bilingual staff for both parents and students. Our program is unique as we are bilingual in every classroom to meet the needs of our English language learners. We created a customized curriculum using a multisensory approach to target
kinesthetic, visual and auditory learners. We incorporated a music program as an introduction to theater and basic dance. The use of technology creates a pathway for students to learn through engaging, interactive software across all content areas. We have our own private playground which children utilize twice a day, weather permitting. We provide the children with three home cooked meals each day and encourage healthy eating habits.
