Stellar Family Montessori

Stellar Family Montessori is an all ages, in home learning and nurturing center. Learning is guided by a certified Montessori teacher. We use Montessori work and activities that encourage brain development. Children participate in a variety of real world practical life activities that are naturally occurring in an home environment. Located just steps from the Hawley Public Library and within walking distance from the Hawley Pool. Spanish language instruction is offered in a social setting. Children are presented a short lesson daily, and spoken to in Spanish occasionally throughout the day. Yoga is offered daily in short sessions. Yoga is presented as a peaceful way to learn to pay attention to ourselves, our breath, and how we can move our bodies, gain awareness of our bodies, and develop our motor skills. Led by Ms. Laura, who is a certified Yoga Instructor. We offer plenty of outside time to explore the world with our senses. We play outside in our backyard, take walks around the neighborhood, visit the pool, and if the weather does not permit outdoor play, we have dance or yoga inside.
