Stay-at-home Mommy

I became a Mommy in February. I will be quitting my corporate job in commercial insurance in June to stay home with my little man. Once my son arrived, I knew I had to think of an alternative. I know how hard it is to be away from your child.

I am looking to care for one to two children (preferably 1 year and under) in my home. I volunteered in my church's nursery (Grace Fellowship in Snellville) for three years up until mid-way through my pregnancy. My responsibilities included: calming, entertaining, playing, changing diapers, preparing snack time, and discipline.

I think children should laugh and be happy. I'm crafty and love doing do-it-yourself projects with the little ones. I also love capturing milestones and special moments with my son. While in my care, I would love to send you pictures and videos of your child while you are away. I live in a quiet neighborhood, conveniently located near 78 and 285. My husband and I have owned this home since 2008.

If there are any preparations you would like me to take before watching your child, please let me know. I want to make you comfortable knowing your child will be safe and happy under my care.

My last day of work is Friday, June 14th. I can start that following Monday, but please note that my family and I will be going on vacation the last week of July or the first week in August. This will be my son's first trip to the beach. I hope this is not an inconvenience to you and that you can work around that week. I can also provide babysitting for occasional date nights.

My schedule is flexible and I will charge a weekly, flat-rate which we can discuss based on your needs. I am looking for a family I can get to know and develop a relationship with. I hope to find a family with full-time, long-term needs.
